Ghostbusters Firehouse Custom DIY Scratchbuild by JP Ladiao
My Massive 24 inch tall Custom Scratchbuilt Real Ghostbusters Firehouse from the 80s TV cartoon series.
Painted, scratchbuilt with Sintraboard and DIY parts, which i based the design from the toysets and actual pictures of the Hook and Ladder firehouse in NYC.
I made it for almost a month, both the exteriors and interiors, as far as i can do it, to be the same of what I can remember on the the cartoons when i was a kid. 🙂
I included/built essential elements/items on the firehouse, the following:
1) a garage and main doors swinging inside and high enough to house the whole Ecto 1 vehicle.
2) a helipad for Ecto 2 on rooftop.
3) Egon's lab, which i based on the unreleased kenner playset.
4) stairs from groundfloor to rooftop.
5) sleeping quarters and beds.
6) dining room and entertainment room with sofa, TV set and video arcade sets from the 80s.
7) an emergency sliding pole that can cater 3 figures to go down.
8) Janine's secretary table/office.
9) the Ecto Containment Unit for housing all the multitude of ghosts that they have captured from their ghost traps.
As a big fan of the Real Ghostbusters cartoons, I did my best to custom made one 🙂
Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! hahaha
80s vintage cartoon toys forever 🙂
